Maya will represent Denmark at the Miss World 2011 pageant to be held in London’s Earls Court on November 6th.

Australia has it’s Miss World representative, and she is Amber Greasley, crowned earlier today in Melbourne. The 1st runner-up was Mietta Gornall, and the 2nd runner-up was Rachael Penrose.

The Aussie beauty will get ready to compete in Miss World 2011, in London, on November 6. after beating 26 other girls to the national title.

Biography
The 18-year-old journalism student impressed the judges — winning the swimwear aspect of the competition and the Healthy Body Image award before being crowned the overall winner.

"It hasn't quite sunk in yet so I’m looking forward to celebrating the win with the rest of the girls," she told Nine News.

"There were some amazing contestants in it so it was definitely tough competition."
The Miss World competition will see 120 women from around the world competing for the title.

In the living room of the complex Paraná Rosario City Center gala was held the coronation of Miss World beauty pageant in Argentina which Antonella Zárate Kruger was crowned the most beautiful country.

The first semifinal was the province of Salta, Valdez Camila, 24. Who was ranked third Rocío Damiano, Santa Fe.

The winner came from 22 candidates in each province of Argentina. The event will be hosted by Veronica Varano.

They chose the most beautiful one notable jury composed Silvana Suarez, Miss World 1978, Nadia Cerri, National Director of Miss World Argentina, Maria Eugenia "Kenita" Larraín, Chile Model and host; Romina Freijomil, Marketing Manager of City Center Rosario, Paul Cerruti, public relations and Elijah Bserini, Steering Garbarino, Juan Aranda, photographer.

Kruger was also featured in the Miss Talent reaching the semifinals of the tournament with a danced poupurri issues.

The applicant Buenos Aires, with its 19 years, is a meter 72 and her measurements are 85-62-90. Born on October 19, 1992, is free and study law. His hobby is to dance tango, discipline deployed to showcase their talent.

Miss Bahamas World 2011Sasha Joyce won the crown of Miss Bahamas World 2011 during the annual competition held May 1st at the Atlantis Theatre in Paradise Island. Sasha, who stands 1.78 m tall, will represent the Bahamas in the 2011 Miss World pageant to be held in December.

Biography
Sasha was featured as the Tribune’s Athlete of the week in 2004. She also represented the Bahamas in the 2005 Carifta Games where she obtained a silver and bronze medal in the heptathlon and 4X4 relay respectively.

During College, she was one of the founding members of Mckendree University’s International Student Organization and a member of the University’s Black Student Organization.

Crowned Miss Bahamas Universe, with the right to represent the country in the 2011 Miss Universe Pageant in Sao Paulo next September, was 22-year old Anastagia Pierre.

The 1.76 m beauty studied in Spain last summer for one semester and fell in love with the experience, also participating in the running of the bulls in Pamplona.

Anastagia, a former Miss Florida USA, was featured in GlobalBeauties’ Top 50 most beautiful faces of the year in 2009. She also competed in the 2010 Miss Intercontinental contest in the Dominican Republic, where she ended as 2nd runner-up.

The runner-ups in the competition were Darronique Young (for Miss Bahamas World) and Shari Deiva (for Miss Bahamas Universe). Completing the Top 5 was Kristy Evans. The finalists will participate in pageants such as Miss Intercontinental and Miss Supranational.
Last year’s Queen, Braneka Bassett reminded this year’s winners to remember that they are “Miss Bahamas first and a great ambassador for our country.” That they should soak up every opportunity and that they have a great team and support system behind them, and to enjoy what they do. Braneka said that her next step is to pursue an acting career in Hollywood, California.
