Biography:                    Amber is originally from Austin, Texas where she graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in communications. She moved to New York City four years ago with great ambition and big dreams. Shortly after finding an apartment, she landed a stellar job as a publicity assistant at an entertainment PR firm. While publicizing, Amber also worked as a part-time nanny for several families in the city. Eventually she realized her love for children was unmatched and she was meant to teach, support, and inspire children. Amber is currently a graduate student at NYU Steinhardt studying early childhood and special education. She plans to graduate this May as a certified teacher with a concentration in working with special needs children. Currently, she teaches an ASD preschool class at The Gramercy School which is part of the New York City YAI Network and has been serving people with disabilities and their families for over 50 years.
