Star Κύπρος and Μiss Cyprus After a short-term break Star Cyprus is back on the 7th of July in the Cypriot television, on Sigma channel. It is the only official and legal beauty pageant to take place in Cyprus in cooperation with international organizations.
The pageant is an beauty event, but the contestants are also judged upon their personality and character traits, which are necessary in order for a girl to win. Other than the above qualifications, the contestants must also necessarily fulfill and follow the terms and regulations of the International Official Organizations of Miss Universe Inc. and Miss World (UK) Ltd.
Star Κύπρος and Μiss Cyprus will represent our country in the Miss World and Miss Universe Pageants.
Orthodoxia Panagi was crowned Miss Cyprus 2011 (Μις Kύπρος 2011). She is 19 year old and stands 5’6”. Orthodoxia Panagi will represent Cyprus in Miss World 2011 in London, England on November 6.
